"NO MORE TOILET PAPER"

So after we rode the ferry, we went to a wharf where a few really old ships were docked, right by the brooklyn bridge. (that's me and my cousins in front of the bridge in the picture above -- check me out signing "i love you"). I was getting hungry, and my cousins were too, so we decided to grab some dinner at Uno's. Aunt Amy and Aunt Kendra commented that it was ironic we came all the way to New York to get Chicago style pizza. I'm not sure what that means. Anyway, at the wharf they were having a huge party for people with sign language, and it was fun to see lots of people signing, even though I don't do it as much anymore, but it did come in handy that evening...During dinner I had to go to the bathroom, so we went upstairs to use the potty. There was a big long line of women waiting for the restroom, and it seems all of them were deaf and mom understood that they were signing to each other "no more toilet paper". Mom asked in sign if they had told the manager (very broken sign). They said no, so mom and I left to go tell the manager. We got up to the front of the restaurant, and mom caught the attention of the manager...just as she was about to quietly tell him there was no more toilet paper in the ladies room, I screamed out "NO MORE TOILET PAPER". It wasn't so much a sream as a very loud voice, but you know how sometimes my voice gets screachy? It got screachy loud right on "toilet". Hey, I told the mananger what he needed to know, right? Anyway, they were very quick to get someone in with toilet paper. I think it was thanks to me!
